Jana Woerner will be the lead instructor in 2026. She is a PhD candidate from the Department of Integrative Biology at Michigan State University. She has taught the course since 2022 and has a wide range of research and field experience, including time spent living in Kenya and studying spotted hyenas in the Masai Mara National Reserve.
